The check against GM approval on a customer order item (COA-item) occurs when you register the order. That means one cannot register a customer order (COA) if there exists an item with a pending approval requirement. A customer order item (COA-Item) can have an approval requirement triggered after it has been registered typically if the price of the backlog changes, or it is relinked to more expensive goods etc. There is no stop in the forward process from a customer order (COA) to a customer shipping advise (CSA), although an item has for example a GM (gross margin) pending approval requirement, but one will not be able to register the customer shipping advise before this has been dealt with/approved.
Why does my customer shipping advise item (CSA-Item ) have a pending approval requirement for the gross margin (GM) instead of this appearing on the customer order item before forwarding to a shipping advise? Print
